The global version of the Audi Q6 e-tron debuts in March 2023. The Q6 e-tron quattro and SQ6 e-tron quattro with two-motor powertrains were the first to enter the market. The base rear-wheel drive Q6 e-tron, however, has only now become available. It is interesting that the Performance prefix is used to denote the cheapest modification, which is usually used to denote powerful top versions.
The Audi Q6 e-tron Performance uses a single electric motor rated at 306 hp. In "launch control" mode it produces 326 hp. Acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 6.7 seconds in normal mode and 6.6 seconds with launch control activated. The maximum speed reaches 210 km/h.
The battery has a capacity of 100 kWh. The base rear-wheel drive Q6 e-tron Performance provides 641 kilometers of range according to the WLTP cycle. For comparison, we will say that the mileage of the Q6 e-tron quattro is 625 km, of the SQ6 e-tron quattro - 598 km.
Orders are now open in Europe for the new base Audi Q6 e-tron Performance. Sales will begin in the third quarter of this year. In Germany, the price of the rear-wheel drive Q6 e-tron starts at 68,800 euros. Again, for comparison, the twin-engine Q6 e-tron quattro and SQ6 e-tron quattro start at €74,700 and €93,800 respectively.
