The Toyota Corolla family, which is the best-selling model of the Japanese brand, has been replenished with a new version, which is prefixed FX Special Edition. The first examples of this special model will go on sale this fall.
The special version differs from the standard model with a lowered suspension, a small trunk lid spoiler, more aggressive bumpers and 18-inch black matte alloy wheels.
The novelty will be available in three shades: Midnight Black Metallic, Ice Cap and Underground. There are also changes in the interior of the special Corolla. Its equipment includes a 7-inch digital instrument panel and a new multimedia system with a 10.5-inch screen.
The sports car will be available with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 ADAS package. Despite its sporty appearance, the Toyota Corolla FX Special Edition is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 171 hp. and 205 Nm of torque.
This engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. The novelty will be put on sale initially in the American market, and this will happen this fall. Pricing will be announced closer to the start of sales.
