As we have already informed you, the Japanese brand Toyota has once again become the leader in the ranking of the best-selling car brands . The survey is for the past months of this year and is provided by the Focus2Move resource, which specializes in researching the automotive market in more than 160 countries.
The Japanese manufacturer has been the leader in the ranking for the past 10 years, and in May 2024, Toyota sales amounted to 3.6 million units since the beginning of the year. In second place is the German Volkswagen - it has approximately 2 million cars sold this year, and Honda closes the top 3 (1.6 million units).
Next in the ranking are Ford (1.5 million) and the South Korean Hyundai with almost the same result. Nissan is in sixth place with 1.3 million vehicles sold. In seventh and eighth place are Chevrolet – 1.3 million, and Kia with sales of 1.2 million units.
