Serial production of Lada Niva Sport SUVs will begin in December 2024. this was announced by the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, on the TV channel Toliati-24.
The upcoming new product was also mentioned in a material about the opening of a Lada Sport dealership in Togliatti. It was stated there that in December 2024, the first copies of Niva Sport will already start arriving at dealers. And here is what the equipment of this car will include.
1.6-liter engine with a capacity of 122 horsepower,
body adapted to the new drive unit,
disc brakes on all wheels,
reinforced rear axle and suspension,
original springs and shock absorbers Lada Sport,
4-satellite cross axle differentials,
17-inch alloy wheels with wider tires (215/60 R17),
original seat upholstery and interior accents.
Let us recall that a little more than a year ago, the pre-production Niva Sport was photographed during road tests - then it was officially believed that the modification would go into production in 2023.
However, the start of serial production had to be postponed for about a year, and now, in June 2024, the press service of AvtoVAZ announced that the Niva Sport will go into production before the end of 2024.
