The new Toyota Starlet Cross debuted in South Africa, but according to the Japanese, it will be a global model. The youth crossover is sold at a price of $16,000, which at the current exchange rate equals BGN 29,300.
The Toyota Starlet Cross crossover is a "global" version of the Taisor model, which in turn is based on the Suzuki Fronx. All these cars are manufactured at the brand's plant in India. Starlet Cross will soon appear in other countries.
The new Toyota Starlet Cross is a small four-meter coupe-crossover with a sloping roof. It has slightly inflated fenders and a "two-story" LED optics. A touch screen (its diagonal can be 7 or 9 inches) is installed as standard in the cabin. The volume of the trunk is 308 liters.
The basic crossover Toyota Starlet Cross has air conditioning, cruise control and a rear view camera. The most advanced in the XR range, it adds keyless entry, climate control, surround view cameras, head up projection and wireless smartphone charging.
If the Toyota Taisor has a wide range of engines, the Starlet Cross is available only with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 105 horsepower. There is a choice between a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission, but the car is front-wheel drive only.
