SEAT expands the crossover range of the Cupra brand with an interesting model. The new Cupra Terramar crossover debuted in Barcelona, and details about it were announced on the official website of the Spanish automaker.
The new Cupra Terramar is a compact crossover with a dynamic design. It has a pronounced 'nose', flared fenders and profiled side panels, and the rear is slightly raised. The wide radiator grille is combined with diagonal matrix headlights.
The rear window is covered with a spoiler and the lights are connected with a diode strip. The Cupra Terramar is a sportier twin of the new Volkswagen Tiguan and Audi Q3 because it uses the same platform and units.
And not only that, Audi specialists take an active part in the creation of the car. As for the dimensions of the innovation, they are:
length - 4519 mm;
width - 1869 mm;
height - 1586 mm;
wheelbase - 2681 mm.
The interior of the Cupra Terramar resembles the cockpit of a racing car because the front seats are separated by a tall, sloping console. a virtual instrument panel and a 12.9-inch multimedia touchscreen are installed for the driver. The decoration is diluted with bronze inserts.
Sport seats are installed in the front, and the seats in the second row are horizontally adjustable. Depending on their arrangement, the volume of the trunk can vary from 540 to 630 liters. The Terramar's proportions are accentuated by wheels available in 18-, 19- and 20-inch sizes.
The power units are familiar from the VW Tiguan 2024. The Cupra Terramar crossover is available with 1.5-liter (150 hp) and 2.0-liter (204 and 265 hp) gasoline turbo engines, as well as Plug-in hybrid versions with a power of 204 and 272 hp. In the latter case, you can travel 112 km on electric traction.
All Cupra Terramar 2025 get a 7-speed DSG robot as a gearbox, and the drive can be front or all-wheel drive. A sports suspension with adaptive shock absorbers is standard for the model, and Akenobo brakes with a diameter of 375 mm are available for an additional fee.
