Nissan is preparing a new generation Navara mid-size pickup truck. The novelty will be presented by the end of the year and will go on the market in 2025. Prototypes of the model have repeatedly caught the lenses of photo spies, but so far they have been hidden under heavy camouflage.
Some features were also leaked online. It is on their basis that Carscoop published the first renderings of the new Navara. Judging by them, the pickup of the next generation will receive a massive body with sharp cut lines, complex optics and massive bumpers.
The presence of a wide radiator grill and the so-called "floating" roof are also among the features of the new Navara. Changes are also expected in the interior. People in the know claim that the cabin will become more spacious and comfortable, and its equipment will include a digital dashboard and modern multimedia.
To the list of basic features will be added adaptive cruise control, cameras and "transparent" lid. The pickup will be built on the P20 platform that is used in the new Mitsubishi Triton/L200. It will be available with several drives.
The base will be equipped with a 2.4-liter diesel turbo engine with a power of 201 hp. and 470 Nm of torque. Electrified options will also be available. In the market Navara will compete with the new Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux.
