The BMW company will offer its customers another limited version of the X5 crossover, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the iconic E53 model from 1999. Edition 25 Jahre will be produced in a run of 250 copies.
We remind you that on September 1, 1999, the first serial X5 of the first generation (E53) rolled off the assembly line at the BMW plant in Spartanburg, USA. Since then, the model has gone through several incarnations and since 2018 it has been produced in its fourth generation. For a quarter of a century, about 3 million X5 crossovers have been sold around the world.
Newness is a "relative" of the X5 Silver Anniversary Edition for the US market, but has its own unique colors and wheels. The Edition 25 Jahre is based on the 2025 X5 xDrive40i, combining the xLine and M Sport configurations. Black M Sport accents are used on the exterior, including the glass trim, air intake trim, grille trim and roof rails.
From xLine s, the novelty receives aluminum silver inserts on the side panels and bumpers. The stylish look is completed by the 21-inch Orbit Gray wheels with Y-shaped spokes, reminiscent of the original 18-inch wheels of the first generation model. For the novelty, the BMW Individual Manufaktur division offered two expressive and rich shades from its palette - dark green Oxford Green II Metallic and blue Le Mans Blue Metallic, which resemble the colors of the first BMW X5 from 1999.
The Le Mans Blue Metallic version gets a Silverstone Sensafin interior and Poplar Grain Anthracite Brown trim, while the Oxford Green II Metallic variant is paired with a Coffee Sensafin interior and Fineline Stripe Brown High-Gloss trim.
