Lamborghini's technical director Ruven Mohr is convinced that launching an electric sports car now would be a wrong step for the company. This brand strategy is not from yesterday. Already about five years ago, Lamborghini abandoned the full transition to electric cars in favor of hybrids, and this has proven to be a winning strategy. At the same time, Lamborghini is preparing a fully electric car, but it won't be released before the end of this decade, and you can be sure it won't be a supercar.
„Now is not the best time for an electric car, at least not for a super sports car. We have seen many electric cars in the supercar market, but most of them have not been successful. I am very happy with our current plan because with the hybrid composition of our powertrains we will be able to get through the next decade.
