A super interesting tuning was done in Great Britain, which was based on the small city car Daewoo Matiz. The miniature city car was transformed into a real sports car. A video on Twin Engine Corsa's YouTube channel tells about it in detail.
The owner of the Daewoo Matiz in question wants a small car, but with a big engine. In the PowerCrazy Automotive workshop, a 3.2-liter V6 engine from an Opel Vectra was installed under the hood of the hatchback. Oddly enough, it fits in a narrow engine compartment, but it has to be angled and the intake manifold design changed.
The engine develops 210-220 hp, that is, the power of the Matiz has increased more than four times. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Larger front brakes than the Ford Focus RS are also fitted.
It should also be noted that the externally tuned Daewoo Matiz has hardly changed. It's only revealed by hood vents and 18-inch Porsche wheels with wide, low-profile tires. The salon remains completely standard.
The updated Daewoo Matiz participates in various car shows and festivals. The owner takes care of the unique car and uses it very little. You can see more about this strange development in the video on the subject.
