Bespoke Orange County created a luxury restomod based on the Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC. The car has a 6.2-liter AMG V8 engine and a 6-speed manual gearbox, as well as a special aerodynamic bodykit with flared fenders.
The craftsmen who created this automobi plan to sell it for 275 thousand dollars - an amount equal to approximately BGN 501,600. The serious figure is asked for good reasons - the car is actually assembled from scratch and all its components are modernized.
As part of the car's transformation, it is fitted with AMG Hammer-style carbon fiber fender flares and painted in Smoke Silver Metallic. The craftsmen equipped this Mercedes with AMG-style bumpers and carbon side skirts and added 17-inch wheels.
Power comes from a redesigned 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine borrowed from the newer Mercedes-AMG. This engine also features a custom stainless steel exhaust system and, oddly enough, is mated to a six-speed manual transmission that sends torque to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential.
The interior of the car is also radically different from the production model. The company upholstered the seats and panels in beige leather and added a beautiful wood finish, a McIntosh MX406 head unit, an amplifier and 11 Focal speakers. Interestingly, the odometer shows a mileage of 66,000 km.
The ad doesn't say how much the transformation costs, but it's likely a six-figure sum. As for the future of the car, it is currently waiting for its new owner. Bidding will take place at next week's Bring a Trailer auction. See also a video with this unique car.
