One of these cheap and stylish models will be a hatchback that will go head-to-head against the VW Golf.
The publication Motor1 tried to imagine how the new Dacia model, which has not yet received an official name, will look like. It is known that its length will be approximately 4.5 meters, which will place the novelty between the Duster and Bigster models. However, its design will be a hatchback.
Among the main competitors of the new Dacia model are cars from the C-class, such as the Volkswagen Golf and the Opel Astra. However, according to tradition, the new Dacia will be priced as low as possible, and according to many experts, it is expected not to exceed BGN 40,000. For comparison, we will say that the cheapest Golf in our country costs a little over BGN 51,000.
Dacia aims to establish itself in a new segment where buyers are looking for more practical and spacious cars. Given the constant rise in new car prices, the company plans to offer the most affordable options on the market and hit former bestsellers that have fallen out of favor, such as the Golf and Astra.
There is speculation that the new Dacia model will be a hatchback that will be an alternative to the Renault Megane with an internal combustion engine (since the latter switched to an electric version). In addition to this model, the brand is considering the possibility of creating a coupe-shaped crossover, a large station wagon or even a cheap pickup truck.
