The Japanese car Toyota Land Cruiser topped the ranking of the best models with retained residual value. This conclusion was reached during their study by analysts from the American company Kelley Blue Book.
It turns out that the cars of the Japanese brand not only meet the high requirements for reliability, but also maintain an extremely high value after years of operation.
In second place according to last year's results is the Toyota RAV4, and the top three is closed by the Toyota Tacoma.
The Lexus brand also showed good performance, with models from the ES and RX lines retaining up to 60% of their value after five years of use. Experts note the chic exterior, ergonomics and relatively low operating costs.
Among European brands, analysts singled out Porsche and, in particular, the Macan model, which is characterized by high demand among buyers due to its cult status and limited edition. These cars will retain a high value even after a decade.
Among American brands, Ford and Jeep demonstrate stability in the secondary market. This is especially true for the Ford F-150 and Jeep Wrangler models - they have no equal in the pickup and SUV segments and do not lose much of their value over time.
