The online meeting of the eight OPEC+ countries that voluntarily reduce oil production has begun, a source from one of the delegations reported. It is expected that the participants in the meeting will agree on an oil production plan for November.
Bloomberg and Reuters, citing sources, reported shortly before the meeting that the G-8 OPEC+ is close to an agreement to increase oil production in November by 137,000 barrels per day, which is equivalent to the decision of the eight countries taken at the last meeting on production in October.
The meeting is attended by Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Algeria, Oman and Kuwait.
