The size of China's AI-related industries will exceed 10 trillion yuan (approximately 1.45 trillion USD) by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).
“We will deepen the implementation of the AI+ program, expanding the capabilities of all industries and serving every household. By the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan, the scale of AI-related industries will grow to over 10 trillion yuan,“ said Zheng Shanjie, chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). He was speaking at a press conference during the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC, parliament).
