The potential losses for the French economy due to the crisis caused by the Iran conflict are estimated at 4-6 billion euros, French Economy and Finance Minister Roland Lescure said on RTL radio.
„We are studying the potential impact of the crisis. At this stage, the range of estimates is still very wide. We are talking about a potential impact of 4-6 billion euros,“ said the minister.
According to him, the French government is considering measures aimed at mitigating the negative impact of the conflict on the French economy.
A similar assessment is contained in a letter from Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu to members of the government, excerpts of which were published by Le Monde.
In this regard, Lecornu has asked ministers to provide an additional 6 billion euros in savings, 2 billion euros of which are for social security.
