The Slovak government this year must find an opportunity to save 1, 4 billion. EUR from the state budget. Citing the Prime Minister of the Republic, Robert Fico, this was reported by Slovak Radio.
„The government must save 1.4 billion euros from the state budget this year alone”, the radio quoted the prime minister as saying.
Fico also said authorities plan to raise taxes on tobacco products and sugary soft drinks. In addition, according to Fico, the possibility of reducing the number of employees in public administration structures by 30% is not excluded.
