The Netherlands has decided to allocate 65 million euros to the Ukrainian Energy Support Fund, the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy reported.
According to her, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Roman Andarak discussed the issue of supporting the Ukrainian energy sector with the Special Representative of the Dutch Government Erika Scholten. “During the online meeting, Andarak thanked for the decision of the Netherlands to deposit “65 million euros“ in the Ukrainian Energy Support Fund“, a statement on the ministry's website said.
The ministry added that the parties discussed the needs of the Ukrainian fuel and energy sector for equipment, in particular for gas production.
In the fall of 2024, the Netherlands contributed EUR 45 million to the Ukrainian Energy Support Fund and financed the delivery of the necessary equipment. The previous government of the kingdom retained a total of EUR 3 billion in the budget to support Kiev in 2025.
