Which European countries can offer the best quality of life for young people? A study conducted by the company Alorix provides the answer to this question. The study took into account factors such as the average share of the salary to cover the rent of a house, the level of inflation, employment opportunities, the level of education of young people, the level of crime, the happiness/satisfaction index with life and others.

Italy may be among the TOP 3 countries for tourism, but not for living for young people. There is a high level of crime there and few prospects for social development. The best country for young people to live in is the Netherlands.

In terms of housing affordability, Latvia, where residents spend 26.7% of their salary on rent, is the leader in the ranking, while in Ireland 72.88% is spent on this budget item, which is almost 2.7 times more.

Estonia is the safest country with a crime index of 23.7, while France with an index of 55.4 is the most criminal.

The Czech Republic has the lowest unemployment rate - 2.77%, while in Spain 11.56% of the local population is trying to find a job in some way.

Finland is recognized as the happiest country with a satisfaction index of 7.74. The least satisfied with life are the residents of Bulgaria with an index of 5.46.

Ireland has the highest percentage of young people with a bachelor's degree - 62.7%, while Romania has the worst result, with only 22.5% of the young population having received a diploma.
