The development of the electricity distribution network in Pleven region, the dynamics of the electricity market and customer service were among the main topics discussed at a working meeting of Electrohold management with the regional governor, mayors of municipalities and their representatives from the region.
The host of the meeting – The regional governor, Nikolay Abrashev, emphasized the importance of the partnership between Electrohold and local authorities for targeted investment in improving the well-being of citizens and guaranteeing the supply of electricity.
“The investments provided by Electrohold to improve the quality of services provided by our companies in the Pleven region are part of the company's policy for sustainable development through modernization and digitalization of services and the electricity distribution network. Our main goal is to provide reliable and affordable energy for every household and every business. To achieve this goal, we also rely on our active partnership with local authorities“, said Eng. Georgi Mikov, CEO of Electrohold Bulgaria.
Eng. Radoslav Tsvetkov, CEO of ERM Zapad presented the priorities in the investment plans of the electricity distribution company in the Pleven region. The implementation of the planned projects will ensure a more reliable power supply for customers in the region and reduce the number of accidents. Eng. Tsvetkov announced that by the end of 2025, 5.2 million leva will be invested in the construction of new facilities, reconstruction and modernization of the electricity distribution network in the region, which is 2 million BGN more than last year's funds.
This year's investment in the development of the remote consumption metering system has been increased almost threefold - BGN 2.3 million for the purchase and installation of smart electricity meters in settlements in the municipalities of Cherven Bryag, Pleven, Pordim, Levski and Gulyantsi. BGN 5.1 million is planned for connecting new customers and electricity producers to the electricity distribution network in 2025. BGN 1.3 million has been provided for the acquisition of energy sites.
The meeting in Pleven is the next one that Electrohold holds with representatives of local authorities in Western Bulgaria. The initiative is part of the company's policy of open, active and dialogical communication with the mayors of municipalities and the regional governors of the territory it serves.
