Specialists on behalf of the Indian government have inspected the technical condition of 12 of the 34 Boeing 787 Dreamliners in Air India's fleet and found no problems, the country's Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, said.

“Air India operates a total of 34 Dreamliners. Orders have been given to inspect and assess all 34 aircraft. Of these, 10-12 aircraft have been inspected so far and no problems have been found yet,“ he said.

When asked about the status of the investigation into the June 12 plane crash in Ahmedabad, Mohol said it was ongoing. “A few small details need to be examined. A lot will become known after the black box is examined. The report will be submitted within three months,“ he noted.

Experts are reportedly investigating all possible causes of the crash, including loss of thrust in both of the plane's engines, a bird strike or a potential problem with the flaps.
