Travel&Lifestyle magazine determined the top 50 best and most luxurious restaurants on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast for 2025.
The most high-class establishments are in Sveti Vlas, Sozopol, Lozenets and Varna. Unfortunately, our large resorts Sunny Beach and Golden Sands are not performing well, the reason being that most establishments operate and rely on all inclusive.
The most luxurious and good restaurant on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast is the Gourmet Restaurant “Rombo“ in Irakli, which is located in Vaya Beach Resort. The kitchen is led by chef Noris Kasparyan, who prepares exceptional “pamperings“ for the guests of the complex such as gyoza with slow-cooked lamb, fresh herbs, kimchi and smoked artichoke cream, Bulgarian oyster tartare or Black Angus beef tenderloin, aged for 32 days. There are many more delicacies to enjoy. Everyone can complement their choice with a premium selection of wines and drinks.
The second place goes to the restaurant “Villa Chinka“ in the resort of St. St. Constantine and Helena. The bronze goes to Boca Grande in Sozopol.
“Villa Chinka“ is a place with an author's signature, garnished with a lot of chic and taste. The restaurant is a combination of impressive natural features - a secluded bay with a captivating sea view, complemented by exquisite dishes. Guests of the restaurant can enjoy the freshness and flavors of seasonal traditional Bulgarian products, included in a menu combining both native dishes and Mediterranean cuisine. Everyone's palate can touch a variety of fish variations of turbot, sea bass, sea bream, ling, flounder garnished with fresh herbs …. and many other gourmet delicacies.
The third place - restaurant BOCA GRANDE, Sozopol, transports you to Spain - with its uncompromising food, very good service and unique atmosphere. Boca Grande awaits you with stunning paella, beluga caviar or chocolate dessert, all served in an exceptionally delicate and impressive way.
The ranking is arranged based on the reviews of the customers themselves on Google, Tripadvisor, Facebook and other platforms, as well as personal visits by the magazine's journalists. It does not include restaurants in hotels that operate on an all-inclusive basis, as not everyone has access to them.
