Since taking office in January this year, US President Donald Trump has bought corporate, state and municipal bonds worth more than $100 million, Reuters reported, citing financial documents.
Trump's inauguration took place on January 20. As indicated in the article, he has made more than 600 financial transactions to purchase securities since January 21. The exact amount of each transaction is not disclosed.
For example, the American leader has purchased corporate bonds of Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Meta, Qualcomm and other companies, as well as similar securities issued by cities, states and counties of the United States.
According to the agency, the acquired bonds are from issuers that could benefit from changes in US policy under the Trump administration.
