The Embassy of the Russian Federation confirmed that Ambassador Eleonora Mitrofanova was summoned to the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which protested the deliberate entry of Russian drones into Polish airspace on September 10.
In a post on "Facebook" The embassy stated that Mitrofanova rejected the accusations and described them as unfounded, stating that there was no evidence of Russian involvement in the incident.
The Russian armed forces did not plan to strike targets on the territory of Poland, she insisted, quoted in the publication of the Russian embassy.
"The flight range of the military drones used against the Ukrainian military infrastructure on the night of September 10 did not exceed 700 kilometers, which makes it impossible for them to enter Polish territory," Mitrofanova further explained.
According to her, this is a planned provocation in which Ukraine is interested, as well as individual European countries that are trying to unite society around the "Russian threat".
