Today, the funeral service for Father Ivan from Novi Han, who for years took care of people in trouble, will be held. The priest will be sent on his last earthly journey at 12:00 in the church "Holy Trinity".
Dozens of children live in his shelters in Novi Han and the village of Yakimovo, as well as people in need. The priest's health has deteriorated in recent years, but despite this, he continued to take care of the children.
Father Ivan was born in 1945 in the village of Blagovo. He graduated from a construction technical school and started working. Suddenly, after a road accident in which he hit his head and lost consciousness, he received spiritual enlightenment. He quit his job and decided to become a priest.
