18th case for the death of 15-year-old Filip Arsov, who was swept away on September 2, 2023 on a pedestrian crossing in the center of Sofia, reports Nova TV.
Petar Todorov is accused of the accident. The experts proved that the driver pushed Filip, driving at 88 km/h and with over 2 per mille of alcohol in his blood.
Two years after Filip's death, there is still no verdict. After the accident, Todorov was detained, but in February 2024 he was released under house arrest, and the court decision caused serious public discontent. This morning, in front of the courthouse, Philip's relatives and the association "Angels on the Road" will again demand justice for Philip's death.
