Tomorrow at 4:45 p.m. the National Assembly will vote on the fifth vote of no confidence against the cabinet of Rosen Zhelyazkov.
The topic is: "Failure of the government in the internal security and justice sectors, leading to a deepening of the problem with the conquered state, to a lack of justice".
The debates on the vote of no confidence continued for over 7 hours.
The Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov spoke before the deputies.
He accused the opposition of targeted political manipulation and using human tragedies as a tool for pressure against the government. According to him, the opposition needed a catalyst to sharpen political discourse before the vote, and "assembled motives with the help of ChatGPT":
"The Constitution in this regard is extremely clear and even pseudo-lawyers with dubious degrees from "Harvard" should understand what the Constitution says, namely that the vote must be a motivated claim - facts, evidence, expert analysis.
And what do we get - some kind of popara, an essay that looks more like a publication in a Facebook group with troll posts than a legally sound document. A compilation of rumors, slander, gossip, denunciations, fabrications, manipulations, speculations, suggestions, some ridiculous causal connections, anonymous sources, copy-paste of old motives, presented as evidence in quotation marks.
Obviously, this government, on top of everything, must also explain itself for cases from past mandates. And it is no coincidence that these false theories originated precisely from pages that usually spread Kremlin propaganda," Mitov said.
