On October 2nd to 3rd, traffic in the „Praveshki Hanove“ tunnel on the „Hemus“ Motorway will be gradually restricted due to radio system adjustments, the „Road Infrastructure“ Agency (API) announced.
On October 2nd (Wednesday) from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on October 3rd, passage through the tunnel to Varna will be restricted. Traffic will be redirected from the „Pravets“ junction (52nd km) on the I-3 Botevgrad road – Yablanitsa and return to the highway at the "Osikovska Lakavitsa" junction (60th km). Traffic to Sofia will be carried out without change.
In addition, from 14:00 on October 2 to 14:00 on October 4, traffic will be restricted in the active lane of the Sofia lane in a section with a length of about 200 m at the "Bebresh" viaduct (38th km of the "Hemus" motorway). Traffic will be carried out in the overtaking lane in order to secure the section.
The RIA appeals to drivers to strictly observe traffic signals, to drive carefully, at a reasonable speed and to avoid risky overtaking.
Current information about the road situation can be obtained on the RIA website – www.api.bg, as well as by phone 0700 130 20, which works around the clock.
