We have a huge problem in the Prosecutor's Office. We have a takeover of the system. There is a problem with impunity. This was stated by Michal Kambarev, a member of the Executive Board of “We Continue the Change”, to BNT.
“There is an interpretation of the Supreme Court of Cassation that the Prosecutor General cannot be in the Prosecutor's Office. We have been warning about this since July. The big question we are asking is whether this Prosecutor General is abusing and should he be in custody. There are people who are in custody, and for whom the whole of Europe has come out with an opinion. We ask why this chief prosecutor is still there and not in custody“, he emphasized.
Kambarev explained that against this background there is a third case – the case of the two municipal councilors Nikolay Stefanov and Yordan Kateliyev, in which Dian Ivanov stated today that Anton Slavchev threatened him with 9 months in custody.
“It is not right for the entire presidential administration to use NSO cars. But the question is why Delyan Peevski uses the most expensive car of the National Assembly, which is armored, why does he use these resources?“, he also asked.
