The situation in the municipalities of Nessebar and Tsarevo remains dire. In Tsarevo, an urgent clearing of the Cherna River bed and the ravine near the Strandzha village of Izgrev has begun, due to the forecast for upcoming rainfall, and heavy equipment has entered the holiday village of "Elenite", with which the deposits of mud, stones and trees carried by the tidal waves are being excavated, BNR reports.

In Tsarevo, a municipal commission has begun describing the damage. Mayor Marin Kirov said:

"Unfortunately, we are also preparing for a second wave. Forecasters warn that the weather will worsen on Tuesday. We are preparing a letter to the interdepartmental commission to describe the damage. To our great joy, this time the newly built infrastructure has withstood, but there is peripheral destruction around it".

With bulldozers, 5 waste removal trucks, excavators, excavators, an amphibian, two amphibian repatriation vehicles provided by the Nessebar municipality, the fire department and the military began digging out the mud deposits on the infrastructure of the "Elenite" high-rise building. Firefighters, military personnel and volunteers are helping with the manual cleaning, said the director of the RSPBZN Senior Commissioner Nikolay Nikolaev:

"Our first goal today was to clear the infrastructure so that cars could move. Then to ensure the evacuation of those who remained, because there is no electricity and water in the complex and those who refused evacuation last night, today wanted to. We have completed the evacuation of several families and have brought in a structural engineer to conduct an initial inspection of the building structures. The initial inspection and the structural engineer's opinion is that there is no danger to the buildings. We can start work. At lunchtime we have already allowed people to clean the homes, as well as volunteers."

The damaged cars swept away by the water are being repatriated to a site in front of the "Onyx" hotel between "Sveti Vlas" and "Elenite".

Electricity distribution company teams are restoring the substations.

Tomorrow, the work on cleaning up continues.
