All those who work in the healthcare system must have decent pay. This was said by Silvi Kirilov in "The Day Begins" and she specified that there is already assurance that financial resources will be sought. It is also important to eliminate the imbalance in the payment of doctors, the Minister of Health specified.
He stated that the Bulgarian healthcare system is based on the accumulated experience and dedication of specialists, but without young staff the system has no future. Kirilov stressed that he is working for more decent pay for residents and nurses, as well as to eliminate the disparities between state and municipal hospitals.
The Health Minister pointed out that over 60% of residents already receive gross salaries of over 3,600 leva, but the system still suffers from inequalities and a shortage of staff.
