The “Arena Ruse“ hall is prepared to welcome evacuated residents. The Nikolovo - Chervena Voda road is temporarily closed, and tomorrow will be a non-school day in the village of Nikolovo.
This was announced by the mayor of Ruse Pencho Milkov.
The road is being closed preventively due to the risk of a possible rupture of the dam barrier of the lake in Lesopark “Lipnik“. This will remain in effect until further notice.
The BG-Alert evacuation system applies to residential buildings 150 m from both sides along the Saradzhiyka River.
The carrier on the Ruse-Nikolovo-Dolno Ablanovo-Prosena line stops servicing the schedule and will provide vehicles if necessary for the evacuation of residents of the village of Nikolovo. "Municipal Transport Ruse" will also provide vehicles.
Tomorrow, the educational process at the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius“ Primary School and the “Fairytale World“ Primary School in Nikolovo will be suspended. The day will be a non-school and absentee day.
If necessary, the same will be undertaken for the “Father Paisii“ Primary School in the town of Marten and DG “Raina Knyaginya“ in Marten and Sandrovo.
Teams from the Municipality of Ruse, the “Social Assistance“ Agency and the Bulgarian Red Cross are assisting on site. Food and water have been provided by the Bulgarian Red Cross.
