Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha sold the royal villa in the town of Banya for 2.5 million leva.
This was revealed by the "24 Chasa" newspaper. The property was purchased by businessman Georgi Samuilov.
Payments from the sale have already been received by the Karlovo Municipality.
The former royal villa was built in 1929. It is one of the properties that the royal family regained shortly before Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha became prime minister.
Georgi Samuilov points out that this is a private investment and he has not yet decided what to do with the property.
