Andrey Kovachev: There should be two states, but with clear security guarantees for Israel - 1

The no-confidence votes against Ursula von der Leyen were doomed to failure. They were propaganda for the purposes of the far left in the European Parliament. This was said by the MEP from GERB in the EPP Andrey Kovachev in “Offensive with Lyubo Ognyanov” on NOVA NEWS.

He commented on the refugee flow of Palestinians in the Old Continent.

“The most radicalized came to Europe because we, pseudo-liberal, accepted them and made a big mistake. In Western European societies, they do not control what preachers are in mosques and what they say," said Kovachev.

The MEP said that there should be two states - Palestine and Israel, but with clear security guarantees for Israel.

"Terrorist organizations such as “Hamas”, ”Islamic Jihad”, Houthis and others cannot continue to destabilize the Middle East," he said.

Kovachev said that Europe must deal with all the geopolitical crises around us and therefore must increase its combat capability.

Kovachev said that the parliament in France is very fragmented. It is important to what extent the parties on the left, on the one hand, and on the right, on the other, can have a majority in order to resolve the crisis.

According to him, an early parliamentary election could be a way out of the situation.

The winner of the Czech elections, Andrej Babis, is not so clearly pro-Russian or anti-Ukrainian, believes Kovachev. There is a difference between him and Viktor Orban, the MEP said.

According to him, it will be difficult to form a stable government in the country.
