Starting today, the "National Toll Administration" will check the tonnage of large vehicles, BNR reported. This will be done within the framework of the toll administration.

Currently, there are 10 certified out of nearly 100 devices, announced the regional minister Ivan Ivanov:

"There are sensors embedded in the asphalt that work in sync with the cameras. When the violation is detected, the camera records it and this is formalized in a single act that is sent to the violator. Within 1 hour, he can be caught and sanctioned, while still driving on the republican road network, which is an extremely great achievement," said Ivanov.
