Gen. Rumen Milanov: The situation in Pazardzhik could be a storm in a teacup. Boyko Borisov is not to be underestimated - 1

President Rumen Radev returned for new discussion in the National Assembly the Law on Amendments to the Law on the State Agency "National Security" (DANS), adopted on October 2 this year.

"In law, the arguments are always valid. If it were up to me, I would veto the other two laws - DAR and DATO. For the president to have the right to make this decision means reducing the concentration of power," said the former head of the NSBOP and NSO, Gen. Rumen Milanov in "Denyat ON AIR".

Services must work efficiently

According to him, the chairman of the State Agency for National Security and Defense has become more important than the president.

"Services must have continuity and work efficiently. Political influence is variable. The situation in Pazardzhik could be a storm in a teacup. If we remove Daniel Mitov, we will put another X and he will be the same fuse", added Gen. Milanov for Bulgaria ON AIR.

How should the State Traffic Inspectorate exist?

Whether Daniel Mitov stands at the top of the pyramid does not matter, the pyramid remains and we must work on its foundations, he is categorical.

"The State Traffic Inspectorate existed independently until 1968 and then merged with the Traffic Police. In 1997, they already split up. I would divide the DAI into an automobile administration, which would form the policy of the Ministry of Transport and with regard to automobile traffic," the guest explained.

According to him, changes are made to the Constitution under emotions, and emotions do not govern a country.

"Boyko Borisov is not to be underestimated. We have witnessed how long we were without a speaker of the National Assembly. Now we will replace him, we will put another one in. And what will be the result of this thing," he asked.
