Two Moldovan citizens were detained in Burgas after a minibus with 11 illegal migrants was found during a check at the "Digata" checkpoint, dariknews.bg reported.
According to police data, one of them was driving the minibus, and the other was the pilot car, the police reported.

On October 16, at around 10:00 p.m., uniformed officers stopped a car with French registration, driven by a 32-year-old Moldovan citizen. His 28-year-old companion was also traveling with him. compatriot.
During a drug and alcohol test, the driver's drug sample tested positive for amphetamine. The man was detained for 24 hours.
While conducting the check, the police noticed a stopped cargo van with French registration and emergency lights on about 100 meters in the direction of the village of Tvarditsa. There was no one in the driver's cabin, and upon inspection of the luggage compartment, 11 migrants from Morocco, aged between 25 and 37, were found.
As a result of additional actions and with the help of a police dog, it was established that the driver of the van was the 28-year-old companion of the previously detained driver. Investigators assume that the first driver acted as a pilot car, and upon noticing the active checkpoint, the Moldovan left the van with the migrants and transferred to his compatriot's car to avoid inspection.
An investigation has been launched into the case at the First District Directorate - Burgas.
