Mass protests are being prepared at the Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" (IAAA) under the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC).
The strike committee reports a persistent reluctance of a number of managements in IAAA and MTC to proceed with a real improvement in the organization of work and working conditions and pay.
Over 60% of the Agency's employees have supported the following demands:
1) final equalization of wages for those performing the same and/or equivalent work under the same and/or similar conditions;
2) 50% increase in basic salaries;
3) cessation of the designation of non-managerial positions for civil servants and reinstatement of those dismissed on this basis after 01.01.2025;
4) change of the Classifier of Positions and the staff list with the introduction of a chief and senior inspector on employment;
5) appointment of an additional 600 employees (control inspectors and those for conducting exams, administrative service specialists and lawyers) in the regional departments;
6) conclusion of a Collective Labor Agreement and an Agreement for the Civil Servant with the FSO of the KT "Podkrepa"; We will proceed to ensure the implementation of critically important and uninterrupted activities during the strike.
In the event of continued refusal of the Executive Director Slav Monov and his team to negotiate and make constructive counter-proposals, we will proceed to indefinite effective strike actions, the statement of the strike committee reads.
