VMRO - Bulgarian National Movement categorically opposes the proposal of Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev to introduce fees for kindergartens during the summer months and the support for the proposal by the Minister of Education Krasimir Valchev. This is another blow to the Bulgarian family from the ruling authorities - local and central, who instead of solving problems, create them.
Years ago, VMRO submitted a bill that abolished fees in order to support working Bulgarian families in view of the severe demographic crisis. Kindergartens are free all year round, and now Terziev and Valchev want to return the fees only for the summer - supposedly to “finance“ the kindergartens, but in reality they will “hit“ in the pockets of working young Bulgarians, commented the administrative secretary of VMRO - BND Julian Angelov.
For us at VMRO, this is a blow to young, educated Bulgarian families who work, pay taxes and raise future generations of Bulgarians. This is a shame and disgrace, Angelov is categorical.
