The bonuses that were handed out last year in the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission are not 1 million for just the five members of the commission. The amount is 885 thousand leva and was paid to 28 employees of the energy regulator. This was stated to "24 hours" by the Energy Regulatory Commission regarding allegations made by PP-DB co-chairman Ivaylo Mirchev on Wednesday.
If a simple breakdown is made, it becomes clear that each employee of the energy regulator received 2,634 leva per month or 31,607 leva per year.
Mirchev also claimed that the Bulgarian Agricultural Advisory Service has doubled its staff in the last 2 years, and its chairman voted a bonus of 31 thousand leva.
In the Financial Supervision Commission, the members of the commission received 40-50 thousand leva during the year, and the head of the National Audit Office received over 110 thousand leva.
