A Sofia public transport electric bus crashed into an electric pole late last night on Maria Luisa Blvd. in the area of the 7th Polyclinic. It later became clear that the 60-year-old driver of the electric bus died while driving.
No other injuries were reported in the incident, Bulgarian National Radio reports.
Two teams of the Sofia Police and an Emergency Response Team were on site, and traffic was difficult in the late hours.
