A more suitable candidate for special manager of "Lukoil" could have been found than Rumen Spetsov. There should have been a competition. There is enough time for that. The responsibility lies entirely with the ruling party and, in my opinion, they are postponing the problem. There should be a national plan. Martin Dimitrov from PP-DB stated this on Nova TV.
Asked whether there will be a rise in fuel prices in our country, he stated that there are enough mechanisms, but the authorities are acting in a different way - piecemeal. "It is not a good idea to nationalize "Lukoil", he is categorical.
"I would describe the budget with the words: this is the most leftist budget. These people are spending like crazy with a machine gun. 52 million leva per day of loans. This has never been the case," stressed Dimitrov. In his words, this budget is taking us into Greek or Romanian scenarios. "We have introduced 30 specific measures that have been proposed as bills. Measures must be taken to limit spending," he explained, adding that a vote of no confidence is an option for the opposition.
Dimitrov said that the government must urgently abandon increasing taxes and spending through state-owned companies.
