According to unconfirmed information, the driver responsible for the accident is a woman who was traveling in the direction of Sofia.
For unknown reasons, she lost control and her car began to spin uncontrollably, managing to cross into the lane in the direction of Burgas, where it hit another car in which three people were traveling - a man, a woman and a child. The man and woman died, the child was taken to hospital.
The driver who caused the accident also died, informed the chairwoman of the European Center for Transport Policies Diana Rusinova.
On Facebook, she wrote that the procedural and investigative actions continue.
The accident occurred at 9:06 a.m. at km 208+500, in the section between the cities of Stara Zagora and Nova Zagora.
