The problem is not the uncontrolled Prosecutor General, but the powers of the prosecutors. This position was expressed to bTV by Daniel Valchev, quoted by news.bg.
For him, the problem is the place of the prosecutor's office in the criminal process.
There are many control mechanisms, in his opinion. There is no obstacle to prosecuting the Prosecutor General, as he explained.
Valchev proposes reducing the mandate of the Prosecutor General and rotating the number one prosecutor. According to him, the composition of the Supreme Judicial Council should be changed. The dog is buried here, said Valchev.
Problems are solved with short mandates, rotation and draws, according to him.
He commented that in recent years the state has poured a lot of money into the public sector. At the same time, this exerts heavy pressure on the private sector.
Valchev does not rule out high inflation next year. The authorities are interested in this, because this is how they fill their coffers, in his opinion.
