Bozhidar Bozhanov: They must withdraw the budget by Wednesday! - 1

The people in the square in Sofia and throughout the country - Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, etc., were shouting resignation. With such anger, no government with a little common sense would insist on remaining in power, the co-chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" Bozhidar Bozhanov told the Bulgarian National Radio, quoted by the party's press center.

"The protest tonight in Sofia and in many cities of the country was peaceful, huge, many thousands strong. He clearly expressed his anger towards the ruling party - regardless of those who tried to discredit him. And the media should broadcast and comment on the actions of a handful of provocateurs all evening, instead of this powerful protest", Bozanov noted.

The initiative for the provocations lies with the ruling party, most likely Delyan Peevski himself, because the police's reaction was inadequate, he believes. "I was trying to find the police when I saw a group of provocateurs and there were no police officers around. We called the Minister of Interior that there were no police officers around the "Levski" monument. Then they let the provocateurs run wild so that Peevski could then “speak out” on Facebook," said the co-chair of "Yes, Bulgaria" and added that this was theater supported by the Ministry of Interior.

"The protesters in a procession from Largo along “Tsar Osvoboditel” they turned towards the Levski monument and there was no police. Then the group of provocateurs came. The electricity was cut off in the opposite direction on the boulevard, entire neighborhoods were left without electricity. The planned provocations seem to have been planned to be in the dark. This was a staged event. There was also a small police presence on Largo, mainly around the Council of Ministers, and there were no provocations," he said.

In his words, this provocation will not discourage people, but will anger them even more. First, the budget must be withdrawn and Minister Daniel Mitov must resign, which Ivaylo Mirchev and Asen Vassilev have already demanded, Bozanov said. The people in the square in Sofia and throughout the country - Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, etc. - were shouting for resignation. With such anger, no government with a bit of common sense would insist on remaining in power, he pointed out.

By Wednesday, when the next plenary day in the National Assembly is. He is harmful because of the influence of Peevski, who wants to take from him for himself and control the power structures that will protect his harmful regime, commented Bozhidar Bozhanov.

Earlier today, the co-chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" Ivaylo Mirchev stated that the Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov must resign immediately. The reason is the inadequate reaction of the police during the protest, Mirchev said. The same was the position of the chairman of "We Continue the Change" Asen Vassilev.
