"The new thing about these protests is the young people who left their comfortable online bubble, went out into the field. They see that there is a result from what they are doing, and it is quite fast".

This was said in "Face to Face" on bTV by Slavi Angelov, editor-in-chief of the "168 Chasa" newspaper and an investigative journalist.

According to him, these people will be more and more at each next protest, because this is also becoming a kind of fashion for them – – "whoever is not there is a leftist".

"This is extremely joyful for me, because people from our generations seemed to have exhausted themselves from these protests. The authorities did not appreciate what was happening because they did not receive any warnings", pointed out Slavi Angelov.

Regarding the provocateurs, he said that these are organizations that benefit from “a very comfortable attitude of the Ministry of Interior over the years“.

“Organizations that, when such a moment comes, are used by various economic entities and political parties to do this type of thing. They are not politically tied to anyone, but work for the one who pays“, explained Slavi Angelov.

“In my opinion, the Ministry of Interior missed the point last night. There were conspiratorial things like the power outage. There was another strange thing that the GERB office that was broken into, in principle, people say that it always had its metal shutters down, but last night it was not. These things will be clarified, but the truth is, that the Ministry of Interior had no involvement. The police missed the first moment when they attacked the building of “DPS-New Beginning“, the journalist believes.

"The purpose of the budget was to burden those working in the private sector, who fill the treasury in order to pay the salaries of an administration that in the vast majority of cases not only works in the interests of the people, but against their interests", another journalist said.

"In the “Security“ sector, with this budget that they have conveniently set, next year it will represent 3.6% of GDP. For EU countries, the average such percentage is 1.7. This means twice as high", he pointed out.

"The other extremely irritating thing is the civil servants, who have increased from 80,000 to 140,000 in the last 10 years. No "It's just that their money is constantly increasing, but the more incompetent you are and the more burden you are on the state and the treasury, the more your budget increases," explained Slavi Angelov.

He gave an example of the Commission for Combating Corruption, which, according to him, in every private sector would have been closed the next day or would have been reformed.

“The increase with them is 150%. They wanted to close it, and they are increasing their money by 150%. The losses they have from the cases are much heavier. This is an insolvent organization, it is not closed and is used as a political tool - for economic pressure, etc.“, said Angelov.

“They are not closing them because they will stop our money under the Recovery Plan. In my opinion, they can be reformed and work properly“, he believes the journalist.

“There is a big problem even with those structures in the state administration that deal with the absorption of funds from various European funds. Last year there was a case where the National Fund for Culture canceled two of its receptions, for which perhaps about 300 different companies and organizations had prepared projects. These two receptions were rejected because the officials in this organization did not write the application rules properly and the EC said – if these competitions are held in this way, there will be a failure“, said Angelov.
