"Today's vote is in support of the Eurozone. And who we voted for is Borisov's speculation. By the way, "There are such people" did not vote for the ruling majority. When the government says: "We are the only guarantor of the Eurozone", then their majority is not united on the topic of the Eurozone," added Bozhidar Bozhanov on the air of Bulgaria ON AIR.
"Over 100 thousand people said "Resign", let's see if the political instinct of any of the parties in the government will not work. The topic on which the vote of no confidence will be held will be seen on Friday. The rulers declared war on the middle class, on business, on the economy and were going to push it towards the abyss. Today, fortunately, this budget was withdrawn and rejected by the entire parliament," the MP recalled.
He is categorical that the only solution is new elections.
"There can be no reconfiguration in this parliament, because the sanitary control that we demanded was violated. The first protest demanded the withdrawal of the budget, because it is harmful to the economy, to the middle class. At the same time, Borisov said that the protesters do not know what they are protesting about, that it was a protest by the AIKB, absolute nonsense was said. This made the protest twice as big," the guest emphasized.
According to Bozanov, the budget was "the last straw that broke the glass of patience".
"This is perhaps the biggest protest in 35 years - 100 thousand people in the center of Sofia. They couldn't even be covered by a drone. Our goal as a political force is to try to gain the trust of as many of these people as possible. The protest aims to draw a line and say that this line cannot be crossed. When it becomes too arrogant, then people come out and say that it can't be done like this anymore. Then the role of political parties like us is to present an alternative, and that's what we're trying to do," Bozhidar Bozanov also commented.
The MP revealed that at the protest he saw how the provocateurs were introduced into the protest.
"I looked for the police to inform them. But there wasn't a single policeman for quite a long distance, that's why I called the minister. They were left to break and burn. The police were always there, but now they weren't there," Bozanov added.
