Unions and employers will meet today to discuss the details of the new budget procedure, BNT reported.
On Friday, social partners have been invited to a new meeting at the Ministry of Finance.
Yesterday, deputies in the National Assembly unanimously supported the withdrawal of the draft budget.
The suspension of the budget procedure was reached at the government's proposal after the large-scale protests on Monday. A meeting between the authorities, unions and business at the Ministry of Finance followed. After the talks, it became clear that most of the demands of the business community will be met.
It was agreed that the pension contribution will not be raised by 2 percentage points from next year, and the maximum social security income will probably also increase by less than planned. This will cost the budget nearly 1.5 billion euros in addition. The amount will be compensated by reducing capital expenditures. If a consensus is reached with employers and unions, the adjusted budget will be ready by Monday.
The ambition of the government is to have the state budget adopted by the end of the month.
