Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov will answer parliamentary questions today. He will participate in the so-called blitz control, which is held every first Friday of the month, and then he will also participate in the regular parliamentary control.
In the regular parliamentary control, the Prime Minister will be responsible for the government's general policy for fire prevention and response and the need to build a sustainable capacity for fire protection and aerial extinguishing. There is also a question about the shortage of funds for regional governments to clean riverbeds in non-urbanized territories.
Six more cabinet ministers will participate in the parliamentary control. The most questions - 26, are to the Minister of Regional Development Ivan Ivanov. Five questions will be answered by the Minister of Agriculture Georgi Tahov and the Minister of Interior - Daniel Mitov. Two questions were asked to the Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov and one each to the Ministers of Justice Georgi Georgiev and Energy Zhecho Stankov.
