The entire parliamentary group of the "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" (APS) has signed as co-sponsors of the upcoming submission of the vote of no confidence in the government, announced deputies from the group in the National Assembly.
"We are convinced that this is the right move, taking into account the national coverage of the protests in Bulgaria against the government's policy and now the personalization of two figures. That is why we are co-sponsors of the vote of no confidence," the MPs pointed out, adding that everyone will support it in the hall and expect it to succeed.
"Even if the vote of no confidence fails, the genie has been let out of the bottle, there can hardly be a turning back. The question is not whether the government will fall or not, the question is when this will happen. And as for the idea of the ruling party to submit a budget that will be adopted by the New Year, we must first go back in time and understand what the ruling party said - that this budget that they submitted and then withdrew is the only possible one. It turned out that only the possible budget has an alternative," said Hasan Ademov.
Today, PP-DB is submitting a vote of no confidence in the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov to the National Assembly, despite the decision of the cabinet, and now also of the parliament, to withdraw the 2026 budget. The vote of no confidence is on the economic policy of the government.
